This is just a short note to introduce myself. My home is in northern California (Morgan Hill) and my hobby is aviation photography. My R gear consists of an R7, R50, an RF 100-400 and an RF 100-500. I look forward to enjoying the other RF Shooters on this forum.
Hi…and thank you. There was minimal processing…some shadow tweaks but not much more. Light was good that day. My preferences are military and warbird aircraft but will shoot airliners in a pinch. This 737 was shot on final approach to SFO recently.
Yjamls for the feedback Jim. Mabe you'd like to live where I do - on the approach to RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, UK. Home of the 48th FW with F-15E & F-35A. Currently have four Norwegian F-35 visiting for a few days but I'm recuperating so cannot get out. Looking forward to some more of your photos.

Hello and welcome Jim. Nice first shot, indeed. I haven't shot planes so far but always planning to go out for plane spotting. Hope to learn a lot from you.

Hi Feri and thank you. I don't know what your equipment is but I'll be glad to help you with recommendations. Aircraft photography is a lot of fun. A few tips here and there can really make it enjoyable. I hope to hear from you further.
