Did you ask your mate why it was gathering dust?

From what I know, the ink cartridges are small and operating costs can be a bit expensive.

he decided not to pursue printing and hes gone off photography altogether now
 
125 sheets of premium lustre A3plus $231

Ink is $520 for full set of cartridges in theory 150 A3 prints but could be more. Off course you dont replace them all at same time.

We're gonna use it at camera club charge costs to cover paper and ink.

Takes about 6 minutes to print A3
