From this morning walk at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. I was standing on a footbridge over the creek, that explains the angle. I was so close shooting at 500mm filled the frame!

Dean, awesome detail on this bird especially the long neck feathers. I'd be happy if my photos were half as good as this. Well done.
