Recent shot of a Great Blue Heron with the R7, RF 400 2.8 with the RF2x convertor, ISO 800. This is approximately 80 % of the full frame.
So far I have been very happy with the performance of the R7.

Very nice. Did you shoot it at night with a flash? Or is the background post-processed?

I was shooting across a river about 80 yards wide. On the other side is an old mill building built out about 25 feet over the water.


In the morning or late in the day, the angle of the sun is such that the shadows under the mill just go black.
