I finally got an Laowa 58mm f2.8 macro lens and went yesterday for testing it. Test setup was Canon R8 + Laowa 58mm macro, flash is an godox V480c with aliexpress macro diffuser.
I must say this is a good lens but its pretty hard to focus in 2:1 magnification. The DoF is crazy small even when its closed to F8 or F11. I had to use help of focus peaking with 5x digital magnification to get any decent result
Next time i try to focus stack and see what result i get .
Here i will put all my future macro images so it will be better that everything is in one thread.
