Some macro bugs :) [ collective thread]

I finally got an Laowa 58mm f2.8 macro lens and went yesterday for testing it. Test setup was Canon R8 + Laowa 58mm macro, flash is an godox V480c with aliexpress macro diffuser.
I must say this is a good lens but its pretty hard to focus in 2:1 magnification. The DoF is crazy small even when its closed to F8 or F11. I had to use help of focus peaking with 5x digital magnification to get any decent result Next time i try to focus stack and see what result i get .

Love the Ladybug! It's rare to see the 'face-on' view.

And your focus is spot on - when viewed at full size, you can see the individual ommatidium in its eyes.

Today was very windy and all bugs were hard to focus so i got only this spider It's 3 images focus stack , tuned in Lightroom and stacked i zerene stacker.
