Hi guys - I headed down country to a dark sky area last week and thought I would try my hand at one Astro using the following gear

Canon R5
Samyang 14mm f2.8 manual lens
Canon 28-70 f2 lens
Benro Carbon tripod

The weather was near perfect, clear skies, only some biting wind, and for the most part a near new 🌙.

all shots are single shots, no stacking or tracking - some with a little colour bump in LR and others just purely as shot from the canon. Had to say I was really impressed with the RF28-70 f2 lens for all shooting I did over the weekend - both day and Astro shots ! Interested in your thoughts

    Fantastic sport camera
This camera is FANTASTIC. I'm a dog sports shooter, so very fast indoor action with a lot of obstacles to shoot in and around. This camera does a...

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
