Gerberas are indigenous to South Africa and found near the town of Barberton from which the common name Barberton Daisy is derived. Also known as a Transvaal Daisy from the original Transvaal (across the Vaal river) province. Mostly they are single flowers but have been bread into double flowers in many different colours which can be 20cm across

Amazing photos, Don, and wonderful colors. It's almost hard to believe that they can grow to 20cm (about 8 inches) in diameter.
