A night out in Poole, while looking at the Christmas lights on the quay (which were not that good) looked the other way and the dock look like a monster was living there.
Shot with my R5 and EF24-70 2.8L II, 24mm at 1/20th of a second (hand held) f16 at iso 800.

The B&W treatment really creates an eerie look and feel.

Paul.

Thanks Paul, the colour was ok but you could see this was a B&W shot I also shot a couple of stops under so the lights were not burnt out.

Wow, this really is a super image for me. It could be the cover of some thriller set in a seedy dock area. It's got so much moodiness and grit.

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
