Fresh 48s are newborn photos usually done in the hospital when the baby is 24-48 hours old. We use what's available in the room in a photo-journalistic manner rather than using props like a regular newborn/baby photographer.

I finally tried a stacked photo with the RF 100 macro lens. Subject is a cicada shell I found in our back yard, so I had a nice stationary subject to work with. Tripod for stability, a flashlight for light, and PS for blending the stack of 60 images.
