A Day At The Aquarium

Spent the afternoon at the Skidaway Institute Of Oceanography yesterday. They had an open house with all the wonderful volunteers and staff there. Great time looking at fish. I wish I had taken my real camera, so I had to make do with my cell phone. The only negative thing was the lady up front wouldn’t let me bring my fishing pole inside.

It reminds me that we have the National Aquarium up the road from me in Bal'more. I need to get off my duff and go visit.

Go visit. As aquariums go, Skidaway isn’t that big, the main focus at the institute is marine research with an emphasis on coastal environments. I can imagine the National Aquarium would be fantastic.
