It took multiple walks across the bridge but I finally found the shot I had envisioned.

In my opinion, this image is stronger than the other one. The combination of the symmetry, the leading lines to the center, contrast between the cables and the background, and the starburst effect in the lights. Very strong image in my opinion. Well done indeed.

Thank you very much, Bryan. I agree, and without the structure of the bridge it has no distractions. If that line across the middle is straight, the image is straight, its just the symmetry that is important. Now we will see how it will do in camera club competition.

Oh it's pretty fabulous, you must! And walking around the park is nice as well. Easy to spend a full day there.
