Anyone considering the new Viltrox flash?

I just got one. VERY cool, but second day every ETTL shot was 5-6 stops over blown. Spoent at least three if not 4 hours googling what I could possibly be doing wrong!

The flash was just a little "out" of the shoe and when that happens, it always fires at full power Oy.

Now working as expected.

I'd prefer a Canon type flash latch than the screw. Would be great to tilt or bounce. But for $50 I find this amazing.
