Canon R5 Canon R5 Electronic Shutter Query

Hi

Got a question for you when I am in electronic shutter mode in manual, I only get max 5sec exposure I have to go to mechanical shutter mode to get a 30sec exposure time. Is there a way to get 30sec in electronic shutter mode?

Thanks I know I could be in Bulb mode however I want to be in manual.

Oh I see.
I only use bulb mode for long exposures

From searching through the Canon manual, page 921 indicates that the max electronic shutter time is 0.5 seconds.
