Hi, Bryan. Sorry for the late reply - just saw your message now. I used diffused flash for these shots. An on-camera speedlite is directed to a fan-shaped translucent sheet of plastic affixed to the front of the lens.
 
Just started experimenting with my recently acquired RF100mm F2.8L macro lens and have been having issues because of the limited depth of field at wide apertures so I thought I'd take some shots to see how it changes. I hope others find them interesting. The next step is to get into focus bracketing.

Good stuff. Don't forget about diffraction. At f/32, the image at the focal plane is not as sharp as it is in the f/16 image.
 
Good point. Images are straight from the camera without edits (apart from adding the text). Sharpening might help.
