Yesterday morning I headed up to the Old Man of Storr here on the Isle of Skye, with the intention of going for a walk, however I took the camera along just in case.

Upon my arrival a couple of hours after sunrise there was a lot of low cloud obscuring the views so I continued walking up the ridge.

As I was heading back down the cloud was starting to blow through, so I worked an area for ten minutes or so.

This particular shot is from when the low cloud has all disappeared, allowing the light to shine through one of the windows of this rock structure called The Cathedral.

Cool shot can't wait to go to Scotland, it is on my short list when the world returns to normal.

Patience always pays off - well most of the time. Great image.

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
