From early October 2020, I headed to the Quiraing on the Isle of Skye for sunrise with a friend. Upon our arrival at the spot looking down on The Needle, we could hardly see a thing due to the low cloud. Some may have decided to turn back, however we waited it out and shortly after the sun had rose the cloud behind The Needle started to glow, whilst some subtle light hit the rock itself.
