Enjoyed a long weekend on Jekyll Island and had to be at Driftwood Beach at sunrise. Unfortunately, the Atlantic hurricane season didn’t cooperate for a clear sky.

I think the sky you have here might be better than a clear sky. It has more drama and tension in it than a clear sky would. The dark silhouette of the driftwood is a bit omnious, which adds to the drama. The only thing I personally would investigate is the cropping. I would like to see if cropping as so to place the driftwood in the left third of the frame with the long branch leading the eye into the center of the image instead of out of the image. But, like I said, I would only investigate, meaning that I very well might like your current version the best.

Very nice image in my opinion. Well done!
