Hi what brand, and does the lens extension cover interfere with the movement. Thanks
No it doesn't. Just fits.

I absolutely love this this description from at that link. If you want to completely camouflage your kitchen :)

Looks nice. Although what I learned is that the white color of Canon's L-series lenses serves a practical purpose. White reflects heat more effectively than black, helping to keep the lens cooler when exposed to sunlight for extended periods. This can prevent temperature-related issues such as lens distortion or degradation in image quality. White lenses are particularly beneficial in environments with high temperatures or strong sunlight.

May not be applicable in Canada! :)

Take care and be well! :)

Yes i have read that too. Gets pretty hot here. It will hit 90 degrees mid summer. We also hit - 32 in the winter. I have read about the white lens thingy. I’m going to see if the camo does not scare the smaller birds as much. They seem OK until I lift it. It may just be the movement. We’ll see:

First off, it looks fantastic!!! I wondered if you had done the inner barrel, and you did! Wow. That must be a really good fit. I'm impressed!
Regarding the Canon white color, yes, I have heard that same information about temperature. But also, it is definitely a very noticeable color. It kinda stands out in a crowd, so you know how many folks have Canon lenses!!!
I do nature and wildlife photography (I'm in Alaska), and I can say that in my experience, that bright white lens is definitely noticed by the animals, and NOT in a good way. Unless it's winter. ;) Then you fit right in.
I put the Lenscoat on my 100-500. I wasn't that impressed. I think yours looks better and more useable. One thing I've already noticed about the material is slick enough that it makes it hard for my small hand to grip the lens when I want to turn the zoom. I might take off that section, especially since the lens grip under that is black.
Gosh, you did a really good custom job on yours, with all the cutouts, etc. Well done.
