After 10+ years of shooting with my Canon EOS t2i (550d) I sprung for an R5 and an EF to RF adapter so I could use my old Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L and Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lenses. My Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens works well, to, if only in 1.6x crop mode. The step up in image quality , ISO noise, and pixel count was expected, but still amazing. Early on, I rented an RF 800mm f/11 for a trip to see whooping cranes, but made the mistake of shooting too slow and was disappointed by the results, but I fully believe that's on me, not the lens. I mostly shoot wildlife, birds in particular, but anything that breathes will find itself looking at the big eye.
