Hi guys, looking forward to joining a great new forum, I got an R5 in December and since then have added an RF 100-500 L IS, a 24-105 f/4 L IS and waiting for an 85 f2 Macro IS STM. I also shoot with a 1Dx MkII and have a few EF lenses to go with it and the RF-EF adapter for use with the R5.

I live in a village just outside of Lincoln UK and I like to travel about and take anything that takes my fancy, from Macro insects to airplanes and most things in between, I really enjoy taking gig photos, scooter rally and Mod event photos and also love riding around on my own scooter too.

I like meeting like minded people and always willing to help out if possible, so if anyone local wants to give me a shout to meet up please feel free to do so.

Thanks for looking at my ramblings, catch you soon !!

Welcome and thanks for joining up here Stuart! Sounds like you have built up a pretty nice kit! I bet you are relieved that you'll now also be able to get out and about a little more to put it to good use :)

Thank you Timothy, I'm really happy to be here. I have built up quite a decent set of Canon gear over the years but since getting the R5 last December I have reduced the amount of bodies I had. I sold a 5D IV as I wasn't using it and when I found the "Crop Mode" on the R5 I sold a 7D II.

Along with the R5 I have a 1Dx II and a G16 compact camera for stills and a EOS C100 II for videos so that lot keeps me pretty busy when we're not locked down. I just hope the lovely weather hold on for a few weeks (months hopefully) so I can go out and shoot a bit.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
