Moved to the R6 at the beginning of 2021. Got the 70-200. I’ve taken about 200,000 photos and love the results. Has anybody experienced an issue when shooting high speed, the camera/lens will hesitate or freeze the shot for a second in the viewfinder before allowing you to shoot the next shot?

I actually just started having that issue with my R5 and the 100-500, but it's always at high speed, and then it's fine for a while before it "hiccups" again. Have you had any other issues with it?
