Hello from Vermont US

[Lost In Vermont]

Hi all.

I'm returning to photography after about 10 years off - I had to sell my old equipment for financial reasons. I've been watching the technology from the sidelines and many things have changed for the better.

I shoot a mixed bag of things, with a lot of high school sports and macro. I just received my R3 and I'm learning the many features of the body, as well as adapting to mirrorless and full frame (I previously had a 1D Mk 2). The camera is amazing! I'm anxious to try some new sports like skiing (if I can get access) and ice hockey here in the frozen north.

I relatively recently moved to the beautiful state of Vermont. The photo opportunities are endless here, with nature always in the forefront.

Welcome Terry and thank you for joining up here and introducing yourself to us. The R3 is certainly a great camera to get back in the game with! Hopefully you can get to try some ski photography soon. I've never had the opportunity to shoot skiing myself but perhaps one day. Vermont is definitely a state that I'd love to visit.
