Hi. I’m Paul and I changed form a 5d3 and 7d2 a couple of years ago to the R, it did take me a few months to get to grips with it as I didn’t take to it. But with perseverance I came to love it. I mostly do wildlife and thought the R wouldn’t do well but found with my L series lenses it’s was much better and I got more sharp images than my 7d2, but I do miss the fps and am thinking of getting the R6 to go along side.
I also like landscapes and have started a small hobby business in newborn photography and I have to say the R is excellent and dare I say to sharp sometimes as it picks out every bit of dry skin and for me the eye focus is fantastic it doesn’t fail even when down to f1.8.
