Had a call from local newspaper about recent tornado trip in USA must have been a quiet week

Anyway he asked what inspires me to take photos sort said, just enjoy being out there and capturing the moment errr think he was hoping for a awe inspiring comment.

How do you measure improvement and does updating gear help that crikey wrong reply again, just said well my photos from when I started to now are in my opinion better and thats all I worry about and gear told him not super interested in latest but I did upgrade to second hand R5 thinking at this point giving him the wrong answers.

Do you get a little one dimensional just doing weather images should you become more rounded, again wrong answer , no its what I enjoy plus some animal shots at times do it for posterity. Portraits Street Macro Sport Weddings etc etc leave it others.

Alas doubt I made the cut.

Guess you guys all have reasons why your hobby business is photography.
