Fritz. King of the Castle
My first thought was “Oh, $#% - they’re on to us!”

(When we first got Luna, she wasn’t good about waiting in the truck when I went in a store, so I started giving her a treat when I got back in. Now she expects one and I was going through a small fortune in jerky strips, so I started breaking them in half).

I haven't introduced my cats yet. I have two rescue cats that I got in 2019.

My "Lady" is a beautiful gray ticked tabby. "When she walks into a room, every head turns. Except hers. She has no neck!" (Steve Martin). But Lady is my huntress and, beware, she will cut you.

Salem is bigger, dumber, and much more vocal... in short, he's my little buddy. When he wants pet or fed, he screams at me
. The most vocal cat that I've ever met.

I have the tubby male equivalent. I’ve had cats before, but they were always almost just roommates. This one is different. He wants interaction (and not just “feed me, meatbag”.

How do you get any work done, with them judging you the whole time?

Not a doofus, but obviously pondering the deep philosophical meanings of life... and he looks like a happy boy.

My other doofus. Karla the "slug."
“The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too.”

Seems like Samuel Butler knew Karla…

Lost my Big Boy Fritz alittle while ago, but look what came into my life. Coco.
I put the word ou that I was in need of a dog to partner with Karla. Didn't want a pup as they are too much work for a 79 yr old.
A Breeder got in touch and sai they had a 2.5 yr old female long hair GSD that they brought over from Germany to breed.
But, she was having none of it, so they wanted to rehome her......Me me me I said
Here she is and she even has a German Pet Passport. I may post a pic of the passport in the future.

Sorry to hear about your loss, it's never easy. We lost our 7 year old GSD Frank to cancer just over a month ago, still miss him like crazy. The house wasn't the same without a doggy so we collected Roxy a 14 week old GSD puppy on the weekend. We had conveniently forgotten how challenging the puppy phase can be! Coco is definitely a stunner!

A lovely dog! She reminded me of our Kara many years ago. We got her from the pound, and she turned out to be a very gentle and loving dog. They used to play with our then-new kitten, where the kitten always got the upper hand. I wrote about them playing on my website. Some images will make you think Kara was biting the kitten. Oh, they had fun! Thank you and your new dog for taking me on a nice time travel!
