Birds Kingfishers - Post Your Shots Here

Two very different kingfisher shots. One is a diffuse portrait with pastel shades - an accidental result. The kingfisher landed on the sill of the glass fronted hide. I zoomed out the RF100-400mm to 135mm and stood back and took the shot through a hole in the camo netting. I really like how it came out with my R7. Uncropped. The other is a more common and classic shot taken with my R8 and 600mm RF STM F11.

Beautiful set. I happen to love Kingfishers, partly due to their coloring, but also their behavior.

Nice pictures, Kingfisher is one of those elusive birds that I have only shot from a distance.

I have been shooting long time at 400mm, it's time to go bigger.
