Well I certainly tested the R5, I normally have a very absorbent cloth and a waterproof cover but I rushed out with neither after leaving it too long watching a lightning tracker. After destroying my 5D3 with saltwater through the card slot door and the fact I am off to France in 9 days i really did not want to ruin an R5 again
