Just goofing around taking pictures through my kitchen window, and since the focus was kind of soft (duh) I decided to have fun with this one:

This is a layered image of 4 Celestial related events I was able to photograph with R5 camera in 2024. A Solar Eclipse in Maine, a rarely seen Aurora captured from a mountain side location on Skyline Drive in Virginia, along with the Milky Way and the Atlas Comet seen from Big Meadows on Skyline Drive. The base image is the Atlas comet and Milky Way with evening stars taken at Big Meadows.

I do have a few creative images but not many with R5 as a base image for the Exif. So instead when I walk about I see animals and faces and things in clouds and rocks. I was told by a friends wife its because I use both sides of my brain and her husband said we are both mad as he does not see any of it:)

Well one morning in October we walked to the western end of the Ice Lagoon at Jokulsarlon as the car parks were full at the bridge end and to be honest what ice there was at the time was in that area. I saw loads of animals in the ice and some I photographed and still can see. But then a noticed an Ice Monster sneaking up on me so I took its picture and ran away :)

A photo of the Longfellow Bridge, which spans the Charles River and connects Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. The bridge was restored around the early 2010s, using historically accurate riveting techniques. LED lighting was added to the arches and the colors are changed for different events. For this photo, I took a tight crop of half of the center arch, then duplicated/mirrored the span. Then I used the polar coordinates filter in Photoshop to create the "twisted bridge", which kind of looks like a space alien to me. The red "eyes" are navigational lights for the bridge.
