Hello RF shooters.

I bring another consult to you.

I've notice that in the AF menu TAB 1, setting 6 of the R8 and R6II is an option that remains available in photo and movie mode, and i wonder, does it apply for both?.

I ask because for example; the focus cases only are available in photo mode, and the movie servo AF track sens. Is only available in movie mode. One would think that these options could be used on both modes.

Does anyone have knowledge of this?

I don't have either of those camera and I don't shoot video, but with Canon if an option is unavailable then the item is greyed out and inaccessible for selecting.

Look at page 494 in the R6 Mark II manual for Setting up, Precautions and Notes. I would assume if it's available in the R8 it should be in the appropriate manual as well.
