Canon R5 MF Button as Video/Photo Toggle

I've seen several YouTubes suggesting customizing the MF button as a toggle between video and still photos. If you do that, how then can you set the drive mode which is what the MF button was originally set for?

Pages 834 to 842 of the Advanced User Guide (Firmware Version 2.0.0) provide tables showing which buttons and dials can be used for various custom functions.

• I suggest printing the all-important tables found on pages 834 to 842.
• The tables have:
  • 12 columns (one for each button).
  • or 4 columns (one for each dial).
• Fortunately the customisable functions (many rows) are categorised:
  • AF (p.834)
  • Exposure Compensation (p.835)
  • Image (p.836)
  • Movies (p.837)
  • Operation (p.837–839)
  • Dials (p.842)
• The available customisable functions (for each button/dial) are indicated thus:
  • Solid Dot : Default
  • Empty Circle : Available
  • Shaded cell : Not Available
