Hi. I just purchased a Canon RP as my first foray into full-frame shooting. I also shoot Fuji X-T2 and X100, Ricoh GR III, and lots of ancient Olympus Pen cameras. Street and general photography are my fave daily therapies, and I like to travel light. I'm no spring chicken.

I hope to learn the Canon world and the stimulation a new system can bring. I'll be purchasing some primes, with the RF35mm F1.8 Macro IS STM likely being my first purchase. I'd like to get a very high-quality, medium focal length zoom, but not certain I can afford it yet without a divorce. (Maybe an EF to RF converter and a less-expensive EF lens instead of RF?)

Looking forward to learning, and thanks for accepting me into the community.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
