Hi there. I joined the forum this morning. I’ve been a Canon user for around 30 years and now use an EOS R as my main camera backed up with a Canon M series. My main interest these days is in railway photography, I’m Editor of Mixed Traffic, the quarterly magazine of the Epping Ongar Railway.

Hi Robjohn - here is an image for you. I shot this last night while honing my Milky Way skills. The Virginia and Truckee railway is past its prime. These days it's just a tourist railway that runs occasionally during the summer. This was taken just outside Virginia City, Nevada, USA.
