First attempt at deep sky as a personal feasibility study. I know the editing isn't very good.

55 Light photos and 27 Noise photos stacked.

Don't let the Metadata fool you the exposure was 0.8 seconds and no star tracker. Take 8 photos and reorient, repeat.

Whoaaaa I am so intrigued by this. Didn't even really realize it was possible without crazy specialized equipment.

The single most important thing is a fast shutter speed and tripod.
That is the two most important things are a fast shutter speed, tripod and reorienting.
That is the three most important things are a fast shutter speed, tripod, reorienting, and taking multiple shots.

Yes I've dabbled. You can do all sorts of things with the minimum of equipment these days but with your camera on a £250 tracker - well the sky is literally the limit.
