Excellent! Hard bugs to spot.
Damselfly head-on.
Gotta say that this is one of my favorite macros I've seen in a while. Excellent, imo. And the composition is riveting. I'm in a staring contest and refuse to give up.
Very cool two-tone eyes too.
That's cheating!the second is very much alive and sat happily after spending 5 minutes in the fridge to cool down a little. (Don't tell the Mrs)
That's an amazing setup and great photos.I've been playing in my little macro studio over the last few weeks. trying to get to grips with some new toys.
I've upgraded my hand operated macro rail for a wemacro auto rail. It's a game changer!

So here are a few. All with the exception of the second image, died natural deaths and I found on the window sills around the home and in the green house, the second is very much alive and sat happily after spending 5 minutes in the fridge to cool down a little. (Don't tell the Mrs)
These have been taken with an R7 and R5mkii with range of lenses namely the RF100mm 2.8 macro (this will appear in the meta data). And some cheap microscope objectives at 4x and 10x magnification with the10x is performed beyond what I expected.
