Please use this thread to discuss pre-orders and delivery status for the Canon EOS R7.

I'm not aware of many of Canon's authorized dealers in the USA or other countries. So please let me know which stores you think should be added to this list. Thanks!

Was in the local Vistek here in Ottawa. They have got some pre-ordered R7 in (and quickly out apparently). The other shop Henrys's also have some coming in.

Vistek and Henry's are national stores.

My R7 kit arrived this morning and so far i have been working through the menus to set up. It does seem like a lot of camera for the price and i now have another ef to rf adaptor from Canon.

Well this must be why my R7 ordered last month still has not gotten to the store I ordered it from. :ROFLMAO:

Pleased to say I received my R7 + Kit lens with adapter last week from WEX formerly known as Calumet in Glasgow UK. I pre-ordered on 4th June and was told would be around 60th in the queue so might not get a delivery until October. When I collected my camera the sales person said I was the first to receive an R7 from this store, all very confusing. Good luck if you are still waiting.

Just got a confirmation email from the store I ordered from that my R7 camera has shipped. As it's Saturday I think they may have just created the shipping label and it won't actually get on to a truck until Monday but at least I am one step closer.

I hope you will like it as much as I do. It’s such a fun little camera to bring everywhere. I didn’t get any of the kit lenses I just use my RF glass, primarily my 50mm 1.8 STM. Small and light so I like to bring it hiking with me. 😊

Got mine a month ago from Clifton Cameras. I bought it with the kit 18-150 lens as these kits were coming through faster than just the bodies. So far very pleased with the results using just the kit lens. Paired with the RF 100-400 is a great combination for birding. I am getting a bit long in the tooth to drag the R6 and an adapted EF 100-400 around all day. And I can hand hold the lighter kit without rapidly developing the shakes.
This is The Bridge over the River Wye. All trains long gone.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...

A good lens for what it does, with it's drawbacks
I have had this lens since it came out and it is my lightweight go to lens for walking around in the city and using my infrared-converted camera...
