Does anyone else have a favorite location that you cannot resist photographing? Mine is the Astoria-Megler bridge on US 101 connecting the state of Oregon to Washington.

That is a really nice photo! But that bridge does not look very sturdy. How long has it been up?

I also tend to rephotograph bridges and monuments when I visit them again. I might post a photo later.

The Astoria-Megler bridge is the longest continuous truss bridge in North America and built in 1966.

Very nice photo of the bridge and light trails. The Charles River between Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts is a favorite for me that I will always photograph when I'm in the area. My favorite bridge is the Longfellow Bridge that spans the river: you can always get a different photo depending on time of day, weather, and the variable LCD lighting on this restored bridge. Here's one with the bridge lit in Juneteenth colors.

the Longfellow Bridge

There are a couple bridges in Portland, Oregon that I would love to photograph at night, but I am a bit leery packing my camera and stuff in that area...much less a wallet.
