I am looking into the RF 15-35mm f/2.8 for landscape photography with the R5. I currently have the EF 17-40L f/4.0 and the Sigma 14-24 ART f/2.8 for EF. The Sigma does well, but is heavy as a tank and has a bulbous front element and the 17-40 is okay, but I need the 2.8. Anyone have first hand experience? TIA.

I'm interested as well. I have been looking at the Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8 and the Sigma 14-24 ART f/2.8 for EF... Trying to decide. I was going to take an Astro Photography class so that was my main reason for looking but now I'm not taking it. However, I still interested in getting a wide angle lens. Weight doesn't bother me too much since I normally carry a big bag with my lens in it.

It’s pricey, but a great lens and absolute sun star machine. I had an EF 11-24mm f/4L I used for landscape and real estate listings. Decided to let it go to commit to the RF mount

Size and weight of the RF 15-35mm is much better and I rarely went below 14mm and get more use out of the 24-35mm than I did the 11-15mm so giving it up wasn’t too much of hardship. Of course the price hit from buying the 11-24mm new and then selling used did bring a tear to my eye.

The RF 15-35mm is probably my favourite RF lens, spends more time on my R5 than any of my other lenses.

I just got the RF 15-35 as well. Wow, very nice glass. Very impressed in my few min of playing with it.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
