Was in big smoke last week passed by a different camera store for a look.

Had a rf 200/800 on display and 2 "out the back" $3499 australian dollars

Not on my radar but asked about them yeah great lenses had one pre order and the 3 on hand aint moved.

Gotta admit suprised
 
Interesting, I have not seen anyone with one in the field yet, lots of 100-500's out there with wildlife photographers, no room for both in the bag?
 
or no $$$$ in the wallet?
Not needed for my genre of photography which youve all seen
 
Edit title also see on various marketplaces in oz a increase in R5s reckon people presuming its on its way sooner rather than later.

Hope they dont get caught with a wait but most may have a back up camera
