Went to big smoke yesterday whilst in town went to camera store to pick up a L Bracket.

Yeah there is one “if you asked us 2 months ago is the gonna canon R6iii we would have said now way 26 maybe. Now we reckon 25 for sure. Tis our biggest selling canon and canon know it world wide” R3 will become no more.

But quick to add there opinion only. And mentioned quite a few new lens patents.

See today one bricks and mortar store has R6ii $3388 australian and other stores in a discount cycle as well.

Could be canon offering discount because losing share tikon Z6iii presume direct competition i dont follow nikon.

Or something is indeed happening

Yeap, in anticipation to the R6 III release the price of the II dropped around $500 almost everywhere in US stores.

Camera store changed tune a tad reckon R6iii will be definitely 25 first half.
Sensor and focus and video capabilities “upgrade” what ever that means.

Made comment Nikon jumped ahead and Sony equivalent model coming out soon.

Seems more of the case of keeping up with incremental updates.

Canon number one in there store “just” over the 12 months new Sony comes out will be a run on them same as Nikon was it Z6???
