When I first got the R5 I was using the EF 16-35mm f/4.0L IS lens and this is one of the first images I captured having purchased the RF 15-35mm f/2.8L.

I headed up to this viewpoint on the Trotternish Ridge, Isle of Skye with the hope of getting first light on the hill called Dùn Dubh and I wasn't disappointed, with light also hitting the summit of Beinn Edra in the background and the cloud which was rolling over the top of it.

Great image! Is the upgrade to the rf version, a vast improvement? I realise you won't need the ef-rf adapter. I've been considering changing my 16-35 2.8 ii to the rf version.

Nice shot, I love my 15-35mm . I just used it in the southwest last week . I tried to post some of the shots but my files are tow big for this website.

Thanks very much Joe, I can't really answer your question as I had the EF f/4.0 version. All I can say is that it's a cracking lens.

Thanks very much Dave, if your files are too big then why can't you resize them? I upload 2048 pixels on the longest edge at 72dpi.

I take it the upgrade from EF 16-35mm f/4.0L to the RF 15-35mm f/2.8L is well worth the upgrade. I have the EF 16-35mm f/2.8 but it is the very first version and I would love to get the RF lens.

Sorry Mike, I've just seen this. Yeah, in my opinion it is well worth the upgrade. The main reason I upgraded was for indoor video, however the lens has blown me away.
