This was my first hummingbird nest I have found on my own. It was in the Dominican Republic at the resort Amy and I stayed at. This is the Vervain Hummingbird which is the second smallest hummingbird in the world. I used the 70-200m Z with the 2x. This was not birding trip so I went small but this lens with the 2x was outstanding. More to come.
