hi everyone,

I'm a hobbyist photographer. been taking pics for 40 years!

I don't partake in the Nikon vs Canon silliness. there are many good cameras out there.

owned canon kit since the days of the AE1 Progam. Had a T90, D20, 5D II & III.

last year sold a lot of kit, including my 5D mk III and a shed-load of lenses to finance an upgrade to the Canon EOS R and two lenses (85mm 1.2, and 24-105mm).

love the R, and the RF lenses are excellent!

would love to have the R5, but the price tag is way out of my reach, and I've sold all my old kit !

love shooting landscapes and black and white, but I find myself mainly shooting female pics because I love the shapes. Done a fair bit of cosplay shots as well.

thanks for letting me join this group !

cheers
steve

Welcome Steve and thanks for joining up! I couldn't agree with you more about the Nikon vs Canon vs Sony silliness. It's great to have so many choices.

Fast, sharp, and lightweight! A great lens
This is my main workhorse of a lens and I love it. It's very light weight (only around 2.3 lbs) lens. I've been able to hand-hold it for an event...
