I picked up the RF 16mm a couple of months ago, I love the perspective that a wide angle prime lens brings, especially for landscape and architecture. I own a Samyang 14mm f/2.8 but it's big, heavy and sometimes just more lens than I want to carry around; the 16mm is one I would be more likely to travel with which is where I do a lot more shots of buildings and scenery.

I walk at the local shopping mall early in the mornings before the stores are open and there are not many people there other than a few fellow walkers. I figured it was a good place to try out the new lens for some architectural interiors. Overall I was happy with the results, I shoot in RAW so I made edits later in Lightroom and used the Transform tool to correct any distortion from the angle I was shooting from. I found it to be quite sharp with good color and resolution.

For the price and overall image quality it's a nice lens to have in your bag.

Someone should photoshop some zombies into these. Could be a fun project.
