About 250 feet from my house is a protected wild area. Among the many tall and short weeds, a massive vine of wild roses blooms around this time of the year. I enjoy taking a short walk there to photograph and also enjoy the wonderful aroma they emit. I took that walk yesterday with some joy and disappointment. It was great to see the wild rose blooms, which were a little smaller this year and did not emit their magic scent. Photographing them is still quite a joy. Here is one frame that may give you an idea about this span of 75-100 feet of wilderness. I will probably take a few more trips and share the joy in a new article in a few weeks.
