Great pics. I just bought the same lens but haven't used it yet.
 
I have been using this lens and adapter ( canon) With the R7 for over a year. Great kit. You need a decent strap to support this kit.. One that supports most of the lens weight, Not the camera body. The canon adapter has a bit of movement. on the R7 and R5. This will cause an error messd to pop up. The RF 100-500 is a better-balanced lens and no adapter. needed. You can find them used for a decrnt price.

Well, I have not found the RF100-500 at a decent enough price... Most of the time you can get the EF100-400 half of the price than what you are asked to pay for an used RF100-500. Buying the EF100-400 plus the x1.4 adapter is a cheaper deal and give you more reach. :)
I do not have any problems with the adapter at all. An adapter is an extra connection between your lens and camera so no ideal but I can't stop thinking that Canon has done a good job with these adapters no forcing RF users to buy new lenses.
