Challenging Results

I decided it was more interesting to try out all suggestions rather than just one. These are posted in Order of Request.

First is @Bryan Conner who insisted on Pink. This was much harder to accomplish as we don't have Pink in our garden... but our neighbor does. This required no wind, our neighbor not having his car in his driveway, and a 10 + 3 Stop ND filter.

The second request came from @SwampGrizz who chose "Brick". I lucked out with this as our home has brink inside and out, walls and floors.

The third request was from @JCBigler . This was a big challenge as I cannot get my camera to accept 64000 ISO even when 1/3 increments and Extended ISO range are enabled. So I chose ISO 51200 as the closest to the request. This required a 10 + 6 + 3-stop ND filters. (The golf ball reminds me of an Easter egg)

I never said they would be great photos.

I like mine. Lines, angles, architecture stuff. The right color bricks. Well done. The other two are very nice as well.

Seriously, the reason I chose those particular parameters was to validate the settings that I generally shoot at, not always, but most of the time. Looks like I’m in the ballpark with what I do.

I never said they would be great photos.

Four plants.
crocosmia - lower right corner, the red/orage flower
Lonicera nitida (possibly Baggeson's Gold) - right ?
Another lonicera, but a honeysuckle (multiple species and types) - mid top
Canna (unknown type) - leaves lower left, and flowers toward centre

First photo - black-eyed susan, likely to be Rudbekia fulgida or one of its named types (the yellow flower with the dark central cone)
The pink flower? Currently no scooby.

Ok, seriously, now that I look at the photos, I offer the following comments:

Landscape Photography:
I really like the colors, and it has a 3-D quality to it. To me, the out of focus foreground and background gives it a texture.

Architectural Photography:
I like the vertical lines, surfaces/planes, textures, and angles. All kidding aside about the brick color, I do like the rich color. You have taken what would ordinarily be a rather mundane part of your house and presented it in an interesting light.

Fine Art:
I would argue that it IS fine art. The color, texture, arrangement of the elements, and even the grain give it a very artistic look. It looks like a painting to me. It looks a hell of a lot better than some of what I have seen that has been declared “art” by some pretentious experts.
