I just bought this lens yesterday. Loving it so far! On a related note, I tried an admittedly non-scientific experiment and shot a building with my RF 10-20mm f4 at 14, 16, 18, and 20mm versus my RF 14-35mm f4 at the same focal lengths. I wasn't standing in *precisely* the same place, but I found that the 10-20mm images were less "angular" - that is, the walls weren't pyramid-shaped in the way the 14-35mm rendered them and they looked more natural as a result. Hmmmm..... Interesting.
I recently joined Canon Professional Services and was rewarded with a "10% off" coupon which I now find burning a hole in my pocket. Making matters worse, this lens is now 'on sale' for the Black Friday festivities. I love a sale. No, really. I try very hard not to pay "retail" (whatever that is anymore) and was raised mostly by my depression-era Grandmother who often exceeded frugal and proceeded straight to 'cheap'....
Also problematic: 1) I am an admitted "Telephoto 'Ho" and 2) I already have the excellent Canon RF15-35mm L.... Perhaps this RF10-20mm lens is the therapy I've been seeking.
So. Hmmmm, again.
