This was frame #13 (of 15) taken before the shutter button was fully depressed; in other words, this image and the next two would have been missed had I still been using my original R5.

I had the EF version of that lens and really liked it. Nice details with the R52.

Perfect timing - or should I say pre-timing! The detail is stunning.

+1 for the EF version - wish I'd never sold mine but wasn't using it enough to warrant keeping it.

Another image of the soggy Noisy Miner.

If you check the two light background areas (gaps in the foliage) in the first image, you can judge how far the bird travelled during one down flap of its wings.
