Went on a 2 week trip to northeast Oklahoma to visit family and friends plus go fishing. First three days it rained but it was all good because they had been in a drought to begin with. Afterwards though it was pleasant weather and really enjoyable with very few people on the lake.

Good parkland at Tatton Park, particularly early morning and evening, a small lake, and deer.

Also good for a bit of plane spotting, being close to Manchester Airport.
Hi Mike,

This was our first visit (a mid-journey stop-off), but we suspect it wont be our last - a great mix of gardens, parkland and history.

Plus, as you say, a prime location for plane spotting.

They are buggers to photograph, but I can't resist the challenge...

Hi Gareth,

We feel your pain with this particular subject type - we refer you to Phil and Karen's Book of Blurred Dragonfly's - but what a fantastic capture this is!

Well done indeed - and thank you for sharing... 🙂

Hi Mikey,

A terrific set of captures - we love the butterfly, but can't get past the absolutely scintillating landscape when it comes to a favourite (wonderful).

Well done all round - and thank you for sharing... 🙂

Hi Jim,

Thank you for your very kind feedback - much appreciated! :)

Folsom, California. I wish I'd brought another lens, but I made do with the RF 10-20mm f/4 and had a great time. (The RF 45mm f/1.2 is on pre-order. Hopefully I'll get it in December.) Some were shot at high ISO. How did DxO PhotoLab handle the noise?

Hi Steven,

A series of beautifully clean and vibrant shots offering a wealth of interest for the viewer to explore - love the sense of movement in #1 and the stars in #4.

The RF10-20mm f/4 lens looks great fun. (Will be interested to see what the RF42mm f/1.2 delivers when people get one).

(DxO is my go-to for initial raw processing/ NR, with Adobe and/ or Topaz providing the final NR 'polish' - where needed).

Thank you for sharing... 🙂

Looking through unprocessed image folders from my Canada photo trip in September 2024 for a slide show I am doing. Here is one of those images that screamed make me black and white. Bow Lake in

Lots of ducks migrating down here in SE Texas. I've been going back and forth with stills and slow motion video. Today the light was really nice just before sunset, lots of warm reflections on the water.

Also trying out my new fluid head which works great for video as well as stills.

Hi Art,

A very striking composition, the B&W treatment adding to the already eye-catching qualities.

Thank you for sharing... 🙂

Hi Chris,

A wonderful set of images - beautiful creatures perfectly captured. Terrific detail, glorious colours/ reflections and quintessential eye catch-light.

(And what a bunch of little cuties!).

Thank you for sharing... 🙂

Hi Art,

Looks to us like you just nailed cutie of the month!

Absolutely wonderful subject/ pose with superb eye catch-light and a very pleasing sepia-esque overall colour palette.

Well seen and caught - and thank you for sharing... 🙂

@PKM-UK Thank you for your comment, it really means a lot to me if you truly liked it or if you have any feedback. ☺️

I would also like to ask you, how can I share the EXIF data under the photo like others do? I couldn’t find a tag in the menu for that purpose when posting in this thread. Thank you once again for your understanding. 🙂

Hi Petar,

My pleasure - I thought you did well to control exposure (dark subject against a light background), with the angle and composition adding to the drama.

In terms of the meta-data (EXIF), bear with me as I am just a regular forum user, but with permission to start threads here. My understanding is that the data will be automatically picked up from the file itself - so when you export be sure to tick 'All Metadata' (example shown below is Adobe LrC).

Once posted, camera settings should be included below the image, with other information available via the side bar after clicking on the image itself.

(If you require any further advice, there is an Image Uploads help page Here - and Tim [Admin] is always helpful if you want to drop him a message).

:)

Phil

Thank you @PKM-UK for the detailed response... (y)😉
I’ll try next time to transfer them directly from Photoshop since I hardly ever use LrC at all... I’m more accustomed to Ps.

Great picture - Moraine Lake is possibly the best location in the Rockies.

Lake Louise is pretty close geographically, you can do both in a day.
